Au Lecteur

La sottise, l’erreur, le péché, la lésine,
Occupent nos esprits et travaillent nos corps,
Et nous alimentons nos aimables remords,
Comme les mendiants nourrissent leur vermine.

Nos péchés sont têtus, nos repentirs sont lâches ;
Nous nous faisons payer grassement nos aveux,
Et nous rentrons gaiement dans le chemin bourbeux,
Croyant par de vils pleurs laver toutes nos taches.

Sur l’oreiller du mal c’est Satan Trismégiste
Qui berce longuement notre esprit enchanté,
Et le riche métal de notre volonté
Et tout vaporisé par ce savant chimiste.

C’est le Diable qui tient les fils qui nous remuent !
Aux objets répugnants nous trouvons des appas ;
Chaque jour vers l4enfer nous descendons d’un pas,
Sans horreur, à travers des ténèbres qui puent.

Ainsi qu’un débauché pauvre qui baise en mange
Le sein martyrisé d’une antique catin,
Nous volons au passage un plaisir clandestin
Que nous pressons bien fort comme une vielle orange.

Serré, fourmillant, comme un million d’helminthes,
Dans nos cerveaux ribote un peuple de Démons,
Et, quand nous respirons, la Mort dans nos poumons
Descend, fleuve invisible, avec de sourdes plaintes.

Si le viol, le poison, le poignard, l’incendie,
N’ont pas encore brodé des leurs plaisants dessins
Le canevas banal de nos piteux destins,
C’est que notre âme, hélas ! n’est pas assez hardie.

Mais, parmi les chacals, les panthères, les lices,
Les singes, les scorpions, les vautours, les serpents,
Les monstres glapissants, hurlants, grognants, rampants,
Dans la ménagerie infâme de nos vices.

Il est un plus laid, plus méchant, plus immonde !
Quoiqu’il ne pousse ni grands gestes ni grands cris,
Il ferait volontiers de la terre un débris
Et dans un bâillement avalerait le monde ;

C’est l’Ennui ! – l’œil chargé d’un pleur involontaire,
Il rêve d’échafaudes en fumant son houka
Tu le connais, lecteur, ce monstre délicat,
-- Hypocrite lecteur, - mon semblable, - mon frère !


Kepada Pembaca

Kedunguan, kesalahan, dosa dan kekikiran,
Menghuni jiwa kita dan menggeluti raga kita,
Dan menjadikannya santapan penyesalan halus kita,
Seperti pengemis memberi makan kaum terhina mereka.
Dosa-dosa kita pembandel, ketobatan kita pengecut ;
Kita bayar sendiri dengan mahalnya pengakuan kita,
Dan kita pulang dengan girang di lorong berlumpur
Percaya dengan tangis pura-pura bisa menghapus dosa.
Di telinga keburukan adalah Setan Trismegis
Yang melobang lama lama jiwa senang kita,
Dan logam adi kemauan kita
Dan semua diuapkan oleh ahli kimia ini.
Adalah iblis pemegang talikendali kita!
Pada benda-benda menjijikkan kita temukan daya tarik ;
Tiap hari tiap tapak kita turun ke Neraka,
Tanpa takut melalui kegelapan bau busuk.
Demikian serupa sorang miskin senggama dan makan
Payudara korban dari pelacur tua,
Kita mau sambil lalu kenikmatan selingkuh
Yang kita peras sekeras-kerasnya bak jeruk rapuh.
Berdesakan, berkerumunan, bak sejuta ulat-jahat,
Dalam otak kita gentayangan gerombolan Iblis,
Dan, saat kita menarik nafas, Kematian di ruang jantung,
Turunlah, sungai siluman, dengan gerutu menulikan.
Jika perkosaan, racun, belati, kebakaran,
Belum lagi dihias oleh gambaran mereka yang menyenangkan
Kain setramin biasa nasib kita yang menyedihkan
Hal itu karena jiwa kita, aduhai! Tak cukup tangguh.
Tetapi di antara para serigala, macan tutul, ajing buruan,
Monyet, kalajengking, gagak, ular,
Raksasa melengking-lengking, berteriak-teriak, merangkak,
Dalam kandang memalukan sifat-sifat buruk kita,
Ada satu yang lebih jelek, lebih jahat, lebih kejam-keji!
Meski ia tak mendorong tindakan kasar pun tidak teriak keras,
Ia hanya menjadikan tanah debu
Dan dengan sekali penguapan kan menelan dunia ;
Itulah Kejenuh-jengkelan! – mata menanggung tangisan terpaksa,
Ia mimpikan panggung tiang-gantungan sembari hisap houka.
Dikau mengenalnya, pembaca, raksasa peka ini,
-- Pembaca munafik, -- se sama ku, -- saudara ku!

Pasir Panjang Beach Singkawang

The City Singkawang is known as Amoy City and the China Town of Indonesia, because its resident majority (around 70%) is from Chinese ethnic. This city is in the border between Indonesia and Malaysia. Our visit will not be completed before we visit Pasir Panjang Beach.
This beach become one of tourism icon at Singkawang city and one of the tourism object of West Kalimantan Province. It has been developed to become a centralized tourism package called Taman Pasir Panjang Indah (TPPI). The name Pasir Panjang came from the beach with unfolding curved length gone out to ocean.

Speciality

From the beach, you can enjoy blue sea panorama and also blue horizon above sea. The green reflection of Lemukutan Island, Kabung Island and Randayan Island are hedged by the sea of Natuna. Clean and wide shore sand welcome you for sunbathing or other activity like beach volleyball and beach football.

The clear sea-water and cleanness supports visitor activities who want to swim or dives. The wave is relatively high and become home to many fishes, it also ideal for surfing and fishing arena.

The situations of area become exclusive, when sunset at the opposite islands around this beach area. Visitor are able to enjoy it from the beach or from hotel around this area.

If you feel satisfied to walk along the beach, you can also look around life of fisherman at fisherman kampong at walking distance from Pasir Panjang Beach or just relax in some shelter at Semenanjung Cinta.

Pasir Pangjang Beach is located in Kecamatan Tujuh Belas, Singkawang City, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia

Access

Singkawang City distance from Pontianak is around 142 kilometer, West Kalimantan Province. From Supadio Airport or Pontianak Bus Terminal, you can catch a cab, travel, or bus until Singkawang City. From Singkawang City Centre, Pasir Panjang Beach is located around 17 kilometers again. You can access it by using cab, bus, or minibus.

Ticket price

You have to pay Rp 5000,- per people to enter the beach.

Other Accomodation and Facility

At Pasir Panjang Beach area there are tourism information center, rental of speed boat, water bicycle, go kart, shelter-shelter, hotel and souvenir stall. Visitor who cannot swim along the beach can also use the available swimming pool or you can go around the beach with rising banana boat. Visitor who bring their children are able to nestle because the availability of playing arena for children.


Visitor will not difficult to look for food because there are restaurant, cafe and hawkers. If you want to stay overnight, you don’t have to bring your tent or sleeping bag because there are available hotel with various types.
